Permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation or cosmetic tattooing, is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eye lining and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, lips, and eyelids

Permanent makeup can save time, enhance features, and boost confidence. It is especially beneficial for people with busy lifestyles, vision impairments, or conditions that affect hair growth.

Topical anesthetics are used to minimize discomfort. Most clients report minimal to no pain, often describing the sensation as light scratching or tingling

Permanent makeup can last for several years, typically 1-5 years, depending on the procedure, skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Touch-ups are recommended to maintain the vibrancy of the color.

Common areas for permanent makeup include eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. However, other areas such as scalp, areola, and beauty marks can also be tattooed.

The healing process typically takes 7-14 days, depending on the area tattooed and the individual's healing process. During this time, the tattooed area may scab, itch, and flake as it heals.
